Oboye Azimah Donates 10 Motorcycles to 42nd National Farmers Day Through Agric Ministry

The Organizing Committee for the 42nd National Farmers Day celebration has received 10 motorcycles from Oboye Azimah Company Limited as corporate support towards this year’s event.

The donation was presented through the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, led by Hon. Eric Opoku, Minister for Food and Agriculture.

In a brief interview expressing “profound gratitude,” the committee said the contribution comes at a critical time as preparations for the 42nd National Farmers Day celebration gather momentum.

“This significant contribution embodies a vital corporate commitment to strengthening our agricultural sector and enhancing our mobilization efforts,” the committee stated.

According to the committee, the motorcycles will play a key role in outreach and logistics, helping to effectively reach farmers in communities across the country.

“As a leading, wholly Ghanaian-owned dealer of motorcycles, tricycles, and farm machinery, Oboye Azimah Company Ltd’s support is instrumental in our mission to effectively reach and serve the farmers who are the bedrock of our nation's sustenance,” the statement added.

Hon. Eric Opoku commended Oboye Azimah for the gesture, noting that private sector partnership is essential to the growth and transformation of agriculture in Ghana.

The Minister reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to working with corporate bodies to ensure the success of National Farmers Day and to ppl and provide better support systems for farmers and fishers.

National Farmers Day is celebrated annually to recognize the contributions of Ghanaian farmers and fishers to food security and economic development. The 42nd edition is expected to bring together stakeholders from across the agricultural value chain to honor outstanding farmers and discuss policies to improve productivity.

The Organizing Committee thanked the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and Oboye Azimah Company Limited, and called on other corporate institutions to support the event.
